Full-time Programmer Internship - Summer 2009

at Media Molecule in

From Media Molecule, the creators of Little Big Planet

Fancy spending six weeks of the summer in our offices, hiding from the sun, burying your face in code, shunning the light, eating ice cream, and hanging out with us? Well if you do, and you’re a talented, creative and passionate programmer, then you might be in luck!

This summer we will have a few placements available for people with C and C++ skills ,who are interested in working as an integral member of an efficient games team, learning a thing or two, and helping to make our game fun!

Working in a mentoring environment, you will gain insight into the development cycle of a game and have the opportunity to work on real code that will be included in a shipping product.

It is not a requirement for applicants to be studying Computer Science, but it is essential that you are creative, self motivated, confident and have strong C and C++ skills.

This role is very hands-on so we will be asking applicants to follow an interview process similar to one we would use for our permanent roles. This will include completing a technical test and attending an interview at our offices in Guildford. A successful candidate would be required to commit to at least 6 weeks with us.

If you feel genuinely excited by this opportunity, and think you fit the bill, then please submit your application to us
