We are looking for an online community manager to build the foundation for our next product. We have a huge fan base to engage, enlist, and work with in building our new products, as well as a wealth of Zoo and Animal lovers to reach out to. The Online Community Manager will be an integral part of the team and development process.
Responsibilities - Build our community plan from first touch through live product and beyond - Engage our existing fan base and find new through community posts, forums, websites, social networking, and other means - Use new and existing practices to engage and drive community involvement and growth. - Manage moderators and support external community websites and efforts. - Identify and analyze issues, patterns and trends in user’s requests and product performance. Always know what players want next. - Work with marketing and business development groups to drive player engagement. - Work with product and customer service teams to ensure the best possible experience for the community.
Qualifications - Experience moderating online communities through forums, Web sites and other platforms for a game related product. - A basic understanding of game development, client side development, and server side development - Thorough understanding of web development and community tools - Team player with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills - An understanding of marketing strategies and online business models and experience preparing reports that analyze customers’ trend and characteristics - A passion for online games and an understanding of MMO games and the market.
This job is a full-time, on-site position. Compensation is dependent on skill, experience and salary history. Please, no contractors or phone calls.
