Three Rings, a SOMA-based independent game developer and creator of Puzzle Pirates, is currently hiring for the position of game engineer. There are openings in the San Francisco, CA and Madison, WI offices

The company maintains a strong emphasis on engineering innovation and excellence; the successful applicant will have: 

• Expert knowledge of Java, our primary platform


• Familiarity with Unix environments and SQL (we use PostgreSQL)


• Knowledge of good software engineering practices and the willingness to learn


• A strong educational background, not necessarily in Software Engineering


• Game development experience or a demonstrable interest in creating games

Three Rings remains a small company.
