Gameplay Programmer

Obsidian Entertainment is currently looking for a talented Gameplay Programmer to join our growing team of RPG developers.

Our ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, excellent problem solving skills, the ability to deliver on time and works well in a team environment.  This position requires extensive communication with other members of the team and as such the candidate should be capable of communicating their work in both technical and lay terms.  A strong interest in game design, particularly related to role-playing and action role-play games is a plus.

Requirements:

·         An avid gamer with a passion for making games

·         Must be comfortable working closely with game designers

·         Proficiency in C/C++

·         3+ years of industry experience

·         Experience programming for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation3 platforms

·         Strong math skills

·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering
