Big Red Button Entertainment, Inc., founded by 13 year Naughty Dog Art Director, is looking for an Animation and Art intern to help build AAA games in El Segundo, California. Depending on experience, we will offer pay or academic credit opportunities.

Our focus is to create original character based IPs for cross-platform and cross-media development. With our philosophy of creative accountability, we build on our experience of strong execution skills, especially the ability to create innovative mass market games, while still iterating and tuning solid gameplay and meeting all deadlines.

Specific Responsibilities

• Work with senior animators to create database of animation reference and research material.


• Use artistic sensibilities to find reference images that fit established game styles.


• Expand on style guide elements established by leads.


• Basic animation tasks, when applicable.


• Simple editing of videos to suit research needs.

Education and/or Experience that you bring with you: 

• Proficient in internet research, collecting and organizing digital media.


• Basic understanding of video editing software.


• Basic understanding of animation.


• Pursuing or completed a degree or equivalent experience in animation.


• Strong creative design and communication skills.


• Self-directed and ability to work independently.


• Attention to detail and ability to follow directions.


• You must currently be located in Los Angeles, CA to apply.

• Enrolled in or a graduate from a B.A., B.S. or similar program or Masters program.


• Demonstrated passion for games and the game industry.


• Demonstrated capacity or willingness to be a team player.
