Summary

We are seeking a QA Specialist II. The person in this position conducts essential testing of Bally game products, hardware installations and peripheral devices, as well as internally developed content development software, tools, and libraries used by Bally teams.

Duties

• Tests, troubleshoots and performs setup of software/hardware gaming products and related equipment • Ensures games play according to their design, within performance specifications, without crashes or defects • Ensures games pay correctly under all test conditions and report all information correctly to the operating system • Operates simulators, emulators and other testing related equipment or software • Conducts tests and reports data in a prescribed format using automated and manual methods • Reports and tracks defects through established issue tracking databases • Creates test plans for existing and new products • Creates automated test scripts • Performs other duties as assigned

Training AND/OR Experience:

• Minimum of two years working with or testing gaming devices or similar machines or similar work experience • Casino or gaming background preferred

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

• Must be PC fluent • Familiarity with embedded systems a plus • Storage media familiarity including, SD/CF Cards, USB Flash • Knowledge of computer hardware and software • Experience with firmware devices a plus • Knowledge in automated testing techniques a plus • Expertise in testing and test plan development a plus • Expertise in computer hardware design a plus • Must have solid understanding of software design and user experience testing • Must have excellent communication and documentation skills • Mechanically inclined • Self-motivated

Education: • High school diploma or its equivalent
