Production Assistant to Lead Producer
at Big Red Button Entertainment in Los Angeles, California
Overview:
Big Red Button is composed of veteran game developers focused on delivering authentic gaming experiences that are as fun to watch as they are to play.
Our 22-person studio in Southern California is seeking up-and-coming game designers for a Production Assistant to work on a landmark “unannounced” project.
Production Assistant
The Production Assistant will work directly for the Producer on our “unannounced” projects and be involved in all aspects of studio management. The Production Assistant will be joining Big Red Button at a crucial time of growth and help to refine and implement procedures, methodologies, policies and best practices for all aspects of studio operations.
The number one job of the BRB Production Department is to “protect the team” (the artists and engineers) and keep them working on the game. This is an ideal job for someone who enjoys facilitating and guiding the work of a highly-skilled team. As well, you will be exposed to studio operations in Production, IT, Facilities, HR, and Business Development. There are many varied responsibilities, so if you enjoy variety, you will never get bored.
Important Note: You must want to be a career Producer; this job will NOT help you become a designer or an artist. As a Producer (or Production Assistant) your job is to facilitate the creative process. Everyone on the team is always welcome to give creative input, but that will not be your primary role. From here, you could become a Project Manager, a Publishing Producer, or remain at BRB and become a Studio Producer.
To Apply: Send a Resume and Cover Letter to jobs@brbent.com
